Oldham Athletic have signed Ollie Norburn from Notts County on a one-year contract with the option of a further year. The 33-year-old Grenada midfielder joins having helped the Magpies win promotion from League Two through the play-offs in 2025-26. He made 40 appearances for Notts County during that campaign and played 78 minutes of their win against Salford at Wembley last week. Norburn has expressed his delight at joining Oldham, citing the club's ambition and the opportunity to work under manager Micky Mellon, who he played under at Tranmere Rovers 10 years ago. The signing is a significant boost for Oldham, who are looking to build on their recent performances and push for a top-half finish in League Two. With Norburn's experience and skill, the club will be hoping to make a strong push for promotion in the coming season.
