Oldham Athletic eye Huddersfield Town prospect for loan
Oldham Athletic and Rochdale are reportedly interested in loaning Huddersfield Town's Jay Sway, who can operate in midfield or at right-back. Sway, 19, has made six senior appearances for the Terriers and ended last season on loan at Hartlepool United.

It appears another temporary exit could be on the cards, with Football Insider's Pete O'Rourke having claimed Oldham and Rochdale are on Sway's trail. Posting on X, he said: "Huddersfield defender Jay Smith-Sway is a loan target for Rochdale and Oldham."

When Sway penned a loan deal at Hartlepool, the non-league club's then-boss Nicky Featherstone said: "He's still very young, but you can see straight away the qualities he has. He's comfortable on the ball, he understands the game and he's got the kind of energy and attitude we want in the squad. "He's a highly-regarded young player at Huddersfield and someone they see as one for the future, so bringing him in at this stage is a big positive for us."
