Join Oldham's Football Centre of Excellence for 2026/27
Oldham Athletic AFC is inviting prospective students to join the Football Centre of Excellence for 2026/27. The programme offers a unique opportunity to combine education with regular football training and competitive fixtures.
What's on offer?
The Football Centre of Excellence provides students with the chance to develop their football skills alongside their studies. The programme includes regular football training and competitive fixtures, as well as full-time education and recognised qualifications.
Who's eligible?
Prospective students who are still deciding what to do after Year 11 are encouraged to attend the drop-in sessions. The programme is open to students who are passionate about football and want to develop their skills in a professional club environment.
When and where?
The drop-in sessions will take place on Wednesday 26 August 2026, Thursday 27 August 2026, and Friday 28 August 2026, from 10am-3pm. The sessions will be held in the Joe Royle Stand, Boundary Park, off Hilbre Avenue, Boundary Park, Oldham, OL2 5BL.

Those interested in attending the drop-in sessions are asked to email fce@oldhamathletic.co.uk to confirm their attendance and preferred drop-in time. The Football Centre of Excellence provides post-16 students with the chance to study, train and develop within the Oldham Athletic environment.
